SEX AND THE CITY REBOOT CONFIRMED
The year 2021 started with good news for SATC fans. Three of the four stars of the popular HBO series 'Sex and the City' will reunite for a new show that features the same characters about two decades older.
The new ten-episode series will air on HBO Max and star Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis in roles that became famous in the late 1990s and early 2000s.The show will be titled "And Just Like That" and will begin production in 2021, HBO said.
For obvious reasons, Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in 'Sex and the City', was not cast in the new production. She was the image of the most mature woman, the most expressive, definitely the funniest; Samantha will be missed.
Sarah also confirmed that some other characters from the original cast would be a part of the reboot on her Instagram account. The Sex and the City reboot won't be the same without Samantha Jones. However, I couldn't help but wonder if we will see a return of the iconic fashion looks. As we eagerly wait for the first photos from the set, "Sex and the City" style moments deserve a revival. Well, I can't get enough of SATC and can't wait for the first episode to air.
