HOW TO WEAR A BELTED BLAZER OUTFIT
A blazer is one item that every woman should own. If you don't have one already, I recommend you invest in this piece. You can wear a blazer with jeans, skirts, dresses, the possible combinations are unlimited.
One of the oldest tricks in the book is showing off your silhouette by cinching your waist with a beautiful strap. Either over a blazer, a top, or a dress, belts are the ultimate accessory for every woman. Wide belts, big buckles, chunky shapes, extra details, are some of the belt styles we will be looking for. I own a couple dozen belts and blazers that I have fun mixing and matching belts with different texture blazers. This is a great way to give an evening dress some edge as well. Besides, suits are a reality for me when it comes to working. A super chic blazer is perfect to wear to work or after work, cocktails, parties, and dinner. Thankfully there are often high, appropriately fashion-forward options from places like Zara, H&M, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and Express.
A belt has already turned from just a useful accessory into a decorative one. The belted waist gives the shape a needed boost of femininity while still maintaining the conservative power we look for suits to provide. It helps you to look more graceful and makes anybody's shapes more balanced. Just grab your favorite blazer and a belt from your closet, then wrap it over the top. Wearing a suit during the coldest months of the year is convenient as you won't need a big, heavy, puffy coat because you are already wearing two other pieces underneath, layer a jacket, and et voila!
