HOW TO STYLE AN OVERSIZED KNIT SWEATER
It's Sunday Easter; I decided to spend the day outdoors and enjoy my day doing sightseeing. I went to a small city called Doylestown in Pennsylvania to visit the Fonthill Castle. It was my first time seeing a real castle and, I was delighted by the history of a place that remains untouched in the 21st century.
My outfit of the day is cozy and functional; I opted for an oversized sweater. Knit sweaters are usually soft and breathable because they're often made from natural-fiber textiles such as cotton, wool, and rayon. Juxtapose the loose, casual fit of a knit with edgy leather leggings and ankle boots. My Zara sweater is made of wool; it is a perfect choice to keep warm as we are still experiencing chilly days. To give my look a better shape, I rolled up the sleeves.
As you can see, a unique color enables the sweater to be worn by itself without much styling needed. Keep in mind that too many relaxed pieces in one outfit can leave you looking sloppy instead of snuggly. Be sure always to pair your oversized sweater with fitted bottoms such as skinny jeans, fitted trousers, leggings, and skirts.
My black shinny leggings are the world's most comfortable bottoms also perfectly pair with slouchy sweaters. As versatile as leggings are, so are the kinds of shoes you can pair them with. Boots, sneakers, flats, and heels are just some of the footwear you can pair with leggings.
I recently purchased the Chanel series 19 bag. A crossbody bag adds a fashion twist to the outfit, and the Sunglasses with gradient lenses creates a statement.
I hope you have had a joyous Sunday Easter as I did. Wishing you all the love and happiness that only Easter can bring.
