CHRISTMAS PARTY OUTFIT
Updated: Dec 26, 2019
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. It’s easy to remember Christ and His wonderful life. It is all about spending time with those you love.
I always spend Christmas and New Year holidays in my country with my family. It’s our tradition to show that we are grateful, specially to God. It’s so joyous and almost everyone is in a great mood. I just love Christmas.
Whether you’re in search of the perfect outfit for your family Christmas party, try to look cute but festive too!
Dresses are appropriate for this occasion!
For our Christmas Eve dinner my choice was an exuberant red mullet strap dress. After all, it’s summer in Brazil. Red dress has always been one of the most iconic symbols of feminine chic and charm. We are in the middle of a big red fashion moment and red has the advantage of being a color that can be warm as well as dramatic and glamorous. Red color is traditionally associated with Christmas.
The mullet trend first became popular in the 1980s. I must confess: I am not a big fan of the style! However, this dress suits perfectly my body shape. Depending on what you wear with, it can really dress it up or down.
I wanted to stand out by adding a golden belt to my look. The accessory emphasizes my waist. Belts are an instantly body-flattering look that wraps around your natural waist and creates the illusion of an hourglass shape.
To coordinate jewelry with my outfit I only wore earrings. I wanted to pick a piece that make a statement while still being minimal as the belt shines out.
To provide the perfect finishing touch and glam to my look I paired the dress with nude heeled shoes. You can wear nude shoes with almost any outfit. It gives your legs a longer appearance and drawn attention towards a fabulous dress.
