A CHIC WAY TO WEAR RUFFLES

Let me tell you something if you ever wonder about what to wear for a ladylike look. Here is the answer: A black and white ruffled outfit. More specifically, I will share the best black and white ruffle combo with you to spice up your everyday outfit.

I could point at least 5 reasons why I absolutely adore this outfit:

  • It's black and white

  • The polka dot skirt is a must-have piece

  • The black and white palette combined with vibrant colors works very well together.

  • One-shoulder style is sexy

  • It's very feminine

The polka dot print was once again a strong trend for 2020 Spring/Summer collections. In fact, this print remained constant in our wardrobes, as well as the ruffle style. Even though you may think that black and white versions can be a little obvious or repetitive, this trend's latest version is actually much more exciting.

There were polka dots of different colors and sizes on the catwalks of Balenciaga, Richard Quinn, Dries Van Noten, Gucci, and Marc Jacobs. The designers also innovated by creating different silhouettes, like the enormous shoulders of Balenciaga. The polka dots were present in dresses and in bags and suits, as seen in the Gucci fashion show.

Ruffles and polka dots mixed together are design elements and characteristics of the most romantic and feminine style. The ruffle style is ubiquitous in summer pieces.

For a stylish and sexy look, my choice was the one-shoulder black ruffle H&M x Johanna Ortiz bodysuit. I wanted to show some skin, plus the asymmetric design creates some magic. Although it is a beachwear garment, many fashion bloggers adhered to the same style. To look like a fashionista and spice up things, I wore the vibrant yellow pump heels with the green cassette chain bag. Red and orange, pink, and purple are also colors that would look flattering with the black and white palette.
